Report Incidents in Seconds

When someone identifies an issue or safety concern, they can quickly log it with essential details: time, date, location, and description. With the ability to attach photos and videos, everyone gets to see what that user is seeing.

For more complex, non-urgent matters, there’s also the ability to save a report as a draft to work on later, or withdraw it as needed.

Review

Assigned managers will be alerted when a new report is submitted, and they can tailor the incident category to match real-world scenarios, such as “Flooding.”

From there, they can assign a Corrective Action (CA) or close the incident report.

Assign & Complete Corrective Actions

Managers can assign CAs to specific users along with instructions and deadlines. Once assigned, that user will be alerted, can request extensions if necessary, complete the CA, and attach proof when needed.

CA Review

Once a Corrective Action has been submitted, the assigned manager can review it. If rejected, the task returns to the user with feedback. If approved, it’s marked complete. What’s more, every single step of the process is documented along the way, so you can always revisit to see what was logged, who did what, and how the situation was resolved.

The Philosophy That Inspired the Platform

EHS Navigator was built on a simple idea: when you take minor incidents seriously, you can prevent major ones from happening.

Inspired by Heinrich’s pyramid theory of causational factors (a concept that behind every serious accident are dozens of smaller ones that came before it), we saw an opportunity to rethink how teams manage workplace safety. Instead of reacting to events, companies could learn from their near misses and the smaller issues that often go unnoticed.

Because most digital safety management systems are overwhelming, rigid, or siloed, it’s difficult for employees to speak up or for managers to connect the dots.
